GEORGE STRAIT
We went to see George Strait for part of James' birthday week celebration!  I was debating on buying the tickets and we found out when we got there that he was retiring from doing concerts.  I am so glad that we went to see him do one of his last performances and I think that James is a George Strait fan now!  We had a great birthday week for James!

We had great seats and were so close to George!

James and I had a great time!

     One Year Anniversary
It is hard to believe we have been married for a year!  Where did the time go???  James and I are always so busy and our lives are very eventful!  He is the best person in the world and is so easy going.  I love that we get along so well!  We laugh hard!  And no, I am not the only one laughing; he told me the other day that he loves that I make him laugh!
James is so thoughtful and is always thinking of me!  Because this is a special time of year for us he went way above my expectations to celebrate our one year mark together.  He planned a motorcycle ride up Payson Canyon with a picnic.  It was so beautiful and James did a great job of driving safely! :) James also took me dirt bike riding over Fall Break, which was a ton of fun to see the beautiful leaves.  James went over the top and planned a night in Park City!!  We ate the BEST meal in Midway, had a great night’s sleep, and went shopping at the outlet stores.  He also took me out to Olive Garden and we enjoyed watching our wedding video as we ate our wedding cake!

I came home from school on Monday and James had these flowers, with a card, on the kitchen counter.  This is the arrangement that we had on our tables at our reception.  It melted my heart that James thought of such a unique thing to do to display the flowers that he wanted to give me.  I took them to school for the week because I spend more time there than at home.  I LOVED looking at them all day and I LOVED smelling them each day!

James took me out to Olive Garden on Monday!  Again, he went over the top to treat me special!

I love that James is so adventurous and is ALWAYS doing something!  This week he is off on a hunt in Colorado.  I have to work and so I didn't go to Lake Powell or on the hunt this year.  BUT we are going to China this November, which will be so fun!!
I know that James and I will have another great year together!

Every Love Story is Beautiful but Ours is Our Favorite

I must say that we had the perfect wedding day!  I love to hear love stories but I feel that I will be prejudice towards ours for the rest of time!  I don't think that a love story can be so unique as ours!

Our wedding day was filled with perfection!  The temple ceremony started our perfect day.  My grandpa did an amazing job with the sealing.  It was so good to be with family and friends in the temple!

The weather was beyond beautiful and we couldn't have asked for a better day.  The reception was filled with hundreds of friends and family.  It was so wonderful to feel so loved by so many people!  Our love story is filled with wonderful details, which will stay in our hearts forever!

James and Tiffany met on a blind date!  Yes, blind dates can work!  But it always involves one party being tricked.  This story starts when Tiffany got her hair styled at a local salon.  As it turns out, her hair stylist Mari, was dating James' brother Mike Warren.   As Mari styled Tiffany's hair, men became the topic of discussion.  Mari talked about her boyfriend Mike and their relationship.  Of course, she showed Tiffany a photo of him.  For those who don't know Mike, let it be known he is sometimes mistaken as an Abercrombie model.  Yes, he is very good looking.  For some reason Mari brought up the fact that Mike had a brother Tiffany's age and that he was also scared of commitment!  Most likely, Mari felt bad for James being all alone in the world and suggested that Tiffany go out with him.
Tiffany reluctantly agreed to go out with him only because Mike was so good looking and Mari made up a lot of lies about how fun and charming James was!  Little did Tiffany know that James and Mike are brothers through marriage.  Unfortunately for all parties involved, James does not share Mike's finely structured DNA.  Long story short, James looks nothing like an Abercrombie model!  Mari then proceeded to tell James about the hot fun blonde that she had in her salon.  She convinced James to call her and gave him her number.  Little did Mari know but James had been around the block a few times and had been repeatedly burned by getting set up with the “hot fun girl”!  Everyone knows that people inherently set up people they feel bad for.  James had been set up with a lot of girls in the past who people said were hot and fun and as it turned out were neither.  So James never called.  A week later when Tiffany ran into Mari at the Olive Garden, Mari found out that James still hadn't called.  After a severe rebuke from Mari, James was convinced to make the call.  James called Tiffany on his way to Provo to see if she wanted to go rock climbing.  She had just gotten home from running and with pasta on the stove she decided to go.  Initially disappointed by the man that looked nothing like his Abercrombie brother, Tiffany had a ton of fun climbing and found personality to be the more important attribute in a man.  James turned on what charm he could muster and somehow tricked Tiffany into liking him.  Tiffany as it turns out was hotter than any girl James had been set up with and despite never climbing before was a natural.  James found out that Tiffany was a teacher and so he decided to keep her up way past her bed time.  Tiffany paid him back with a goodnight kiss!  James texted Tiffany the NEXT day to invite her on a double date to have dinner.  The rest is history!  :)
Over the last 3 ½ years, yes 3 ½ years, they have enjoyed getting to know each other. James is more perfect for Tiffany than Tiffany is for James.  James is so kind, thoughtful, respectful, and ALWAYS places the needs of Tiffany before his own.  James has been so good for Tiffany and has introduced her to so many new things!  Their favorite activity to do together is to go rock climbing.  Tiffany was very timid for the first few years…especially to fall from such distances.  With James’ persistence…she is getting better with falling.  They go rock climbing at least three times a week.  They also enjoy snowmobiling, wake boarding, hiking, camping, and traveling to new and exciting places!  James keeps Tiffany laughing and on the go!  Their dating life has never been dull and the time has gone by so fast!
Currently, James and Tiffany are planning on living in Utah.  She will continue to teach 3rd grade and run Little Bella Boutique.  James is going to continue to work in California in the summer and plan adventurous things in the winter for him and Tiffany.
They are so excited for their upcoming event!  They hope that everyone will be able to come and celebrate this event with friends and family!  Please visit their blog often for updates in their life!

Love,
James and Tiffany
